Shipping & Delivery Information

This product ships via freight. Please read all delivery information carefully before ordering.

Responsibilities Overview

Dundalk Leisurecraft: Builds and packs your sauna in a crate and arranges freight shipping to your home.

Trucking Company:

• Schedules and makes a delivery appointment
• Delivers to the end of your driveway or curbside only
• Is NOT responsible for unloading the sauna
• Will NOT back their truck into your driveway
• Typically delivers via 18-wheel truck — please confirm this size truck can access your road or neighborhood
• If the crate is 84" or less: a liftgate may be available to assist unloading
• If the crate is longer than 84": no liftgate — customer must arrange alternative unloading

Customer Responsibilities:

• Return trucking company calls promptly to arrange delivery
• Determine in advance how the crate will be unloaded from the truck
• Be responsible for unloading the crate (crates range from 6–14 ft long and 800–1,600 lbs)

Suggested Unloading Methods

• Forklift or mechanical equipment (must use fork lift extensions and pick up from the end of the crate)
• Rent a tilt tow truck to pick up from the local terminal and deliver to your home
• Have a crew of helpers to unload the crate while on the truck

Crate Unloading Add-On

If you need Dundalk to arrange a tilt tow truck, this service is available for $1,250 (Item# TILTTOW). Please contact us in advance.

Address Changes

• Before the order leaves the factory: Free of charge
• After the order leaves the factory: $350 fee (Item# ADDCHANGE)

Storage Fees

If delivery is delayed after the crate arrives at the local terminal, storage fees of $35/day will apply (Item# STORAGE). Please respond promptly to all delivery calls.

Damaged Crate Policy

If your crate arrives damaged, you may accept the shipment but please:

• Take photos of all damage immediately
• Note the damage on the shipper's Bill of Lading (BOL)
• Mark the BOL: "Crate arrived open/damaged — Possible Hidden Damage"
• Contact us immediately so we can file a claim with the shipper

Care & Maintenance

• Tighten stainless steel bands after first month, then periodically
• Ventilate after each use — open door to release moisture
• Wipe interior surfaces with a clean dry towel after each session
• Exterior can be stained with Livos products for enhanced protection
• Interior left natural — optional Meldos Sauna Oil by Livos available
